اضرمتمُ قَلبي بَنار هواكمُ

اضرمتمُ قَلبي بَنار هواكمُ

واخذتُموهُ فكنتم بجوارهِ

واخذتُموهُ فكنتم بجوارهِ

You set my heart ablaze with the fire of love for you.

You ignited my heart with the fire of your love,

And you took it, so you came to be beside it.

And took it with you to be by your side.

فاليكمُ جِسمي ضعوا قَلبي بِهِ

فاليكمُ جِسمي ضعوا قَلبي بِهِ

فانا اخاف عليكمُ من نارِهِ

فانا اخاف عليكمُ من نارِهِ

Here, then, is my body; place my heart within it.

So here is my body, place my heart within it,

For I fear for you because of its fire.

For I fear for you from the blaze inside.
