And leaves behind those in pain

يمرُّ به الناس من بابها

يمرُّ به الناس من بابها

وخلفان يرنو لمصراعه

وخلفان يرنو لمصراعه

People pass by him through its door,

People pass by its door

And Khalfan gazes at its door-leaf.

While those left behind yearn for its threshold
