سِي إلى الحُزنِ والبكاءِ عليكا
and from sorrow and weeping over
And from the sadness and crying over my own soul
myself to sorrow and weeping over you.

بفراقيكَbecause of my parting from you فارقَleft النومُsleep جِسميmy body
بفراقيكَ فارقَ النومُ جِسمي
أَفلاthen, has … not? فارقَleft الكرىslumber عينيكاyour two eyes
أَفلا فارقَ الكرى عينيكا
Because of my parting from you, sleep left my body;
With my separation from you, sleep has left my body
