Sleep, though my eyelids have not slept.

They are troubled; you feel none of the pain I feel.

O you whose eyes are at ease, this is my body:

Because of you, beneath my robe lie wasting and sickness.

May my father be ransom for him who makes longing beautiful,

And when he displays haughtiness, he is not blamed.

His glance, when he shot, stained

The arrow of his eyes with blood from the heart.
