O you, strutting with the rapture
O you who struts with the bliss of dawn's radiance and fragrance
of radiance and fragrance,
You are but a crescent, rod, and pubis
إنماnothing but أنتَyou هلالٌa crescent moon
إنما أنتَ هلالٌ
وقضيبٌand a slender branch وكثيبand a sand dune
وقضيبٌ وكثيب
You are nothing but a crescent moon,
Everything about you is cherished by the heart, my love
and a slender branch and a sand dune.
And passion calls to me through your eyes
كلevery شيءٍthing منكَof you معشوbeginning of 'adored'
كل شيءٍ منكَ معشو
قٌcompletion of 'adored' إلىto القلبِthe heart حبيبdear
قٌ إلى القلبِ حبيب
Everything about you is adored,
As your eyes respond to mine
dear to the heart.
والهوىand love داعٍcalling بعينيthrough the eyes (continued)
والهوى داعٍ بعيني
