O wondrous one whom descriptions cannot encompass,

You have a face with which you give life and cause death.

If the slender bough saw you swaying one day,

It would remain dumbstruck at the beauty of what it saw.

Or if you dwelt in the gardens of Paradise, roaming freely there,

The heavenly realm would glow with your beauty.

You are my sustenance; what harm would it do you if there were

Sustenance from you for the one whose sustenance you are?
