Nothing in living on is better for him than goodness.

And how can he live on without a heart or patience?

Something frozen of slumber comes from his eye's lid.

And the water of his eye flows over slumber.

O band that never ceased driving it with the soul,

Until it settled, swimming, in the depths of the sea,

And bade him farewell, to depart together with solace—

Out of longing, he said, 'May you recover! This comes with time.'
