My sleep learned to shun me, and so it shunned me.

So my body grew more sick through his stature.

O you, highest in esteem among all mankind

To a heart he has melted with sorrow.

The full moon of the darkness now declares that

You are more radiant than it, admitting as much.

Love for you is enough for my heart, O king of the

People—and through his beauty, it suffices a heart.
