كفاكَit suffices you إنif قالhe said أنهُthat he دنفُlovesick
كفاكَ إن قال أنهُ دنفُ

With passion greater than you can describe

باللَهِ فاردد فؤادَ مكتئبٍ

By God, give back a sorrowful man's heart,
For God's sake, bring back the heart of a depressed one
for he has no replacement for his heart—
He has no relief for his heart

إلا كما كان يتركُ الأسفُ
Longing has left whoever endured it
Longing has left those who carry it
only as sorrow used to leave him.
Just as sorrow would slip away
