مِماfrom what بهis in it منof روعةِthe terror of الصدِّrejection
مِما به من روعةِ الصدِّ
I seek your protection for my heart, O my master,
from the terror of rejection that besets it.

يا واحداً في الحسن كم زفرةٍ

منك أذابت كبدي وَجدي
O peerless one in beauty, how many a sigh
because of you has melted my liver in my anguish!
