Have mercy on the eye that has not slept,
Have mercy on the eye that did not sleep
that stays awake all night and weeps blood.
It stays up all night and weeps with blood
واشفِand heal قلباًa heart انتَyou قدalready عودتَهُyou have accustomed it
ولهُand it has الصبرُpatience بطولِthrough the length of الألمِpain
And heal a heart you have already schooled;
And heal a heart that you have accustomed
and it has patience through prolonged pain.
And for it, patience with the length of pain

بكَin you عاذَتsought refuge مُهجَتيmy soul منfrom سَقمِيmy sickness

Weeping has cured my love-sick heart
