وسقيمand languid الجفونthe eyelids منfrom غيرother than سقمsickness
وسقيم الجفون من غير سقم
كانwas إلاexcept منfrom أحورa dark-eyed one اللحظاتthe glances
كان إلا من أحور اللحظات
And you of languid eyelids, with no sickness
Save what came from one with dark-eyed glances,
وقتولاًand a relentless slayer منamong قتلةٍslayers بسهامٍwith arrows

بدماءwith the blood of القلوبthe hearts مختضباتِstained
