    On his cheeks the pomegranate blossom looks fair,

    And his cheeks’ radiance is the splendor of oxeye blossoms.

    And if a light upon his forehead appears,

    Darkness dies and day comes alive.

    For within all his shining lights,

    The sun has a sun, and fire has a fire.

    ضياءُ تباشيرها مستعار

    And from part of its form comes delight;

    The radiance of its first gleams is borrowed.
