من العينِ لا تبقي عليه المحاجرُ
And when I had exhausted my tears, blood flowed
When my tears were done, blood
From the eye; the sockets spare none of it.
Flowed from my eyes, the eyelids could not stop it,

And I have no excuse for infatuation before a faithless one
