أحالِماًdreaming? كانَhe was أَمor رازَtested الصَبوحُthe morning draught بِهِupon him
أحالِماً كانَ أَم رازَ الصَبوحُ بِهِ
فَظَلَّso he kept يَفسُدُspoiling شَيئاًsomething لَيسَnot مَوجوداexistent
فَظَلَّ يَفسُدُ شَيئاً لَيسَ مَوجودا
Was he dreaming, or had the morning draught put him to the test,
Was it a dream or the secret of dawn it bore?
so that he kept spoiling something that did not exist?
It remained corrupting something not present.
