وَلَم تَقتُل أَسيرَكَ مِن زُبَيد

وَلَم تَقتُل أَسيرَكَ مِن زُبَيد

بِخالي بَل غَدَرتَ بِمُستَفادِ

بِخالي بَل غَدَرتَ بِمُستَفادِ

And you did not kill your captive from Zubayd

to avenge my maternal uncle; rather, you betrayed a captive you had acquired.

فَزِندُكَ في سُلَيمٍ شَرُّ زَندٍ

فَزِندُكَ في سُلَيمٍ شَرُّ زَندٍ

وَزادُكَ في سُلَيمٍ شَرُّ زادِ

وَزادُكَ في سُلَيمٍ شَرُّ زادِ

So your fire-stick among Sulaym is the worst of fire-sticks,

and your provisions among Sulaym are the worst of provisions.
