لاَnot حَبَّذَاhow welcome! البَرِيْدُthe post مِنْas وَلاَيَهْan office
لاَ حَبَّذَا البَرِيْدُ مِنْ وَلاَيَهْ
لَيْسَتْit is not لِمَنْfor whoever يَعْلَمُهُknows it رِعَايَهْprotection
لَيْسَتْ لِمَنْ يَعْلَمُهُ رِعَايَهْ
How unwelcome is the post as an office!
Neither friendship nor protection
It is no protection for anyone who knows it.
Comes from correspondence and connection
هِمَّتُهُhis concern الإِغْرَاءُincitement وَالسِّعَايَهْand malicious denunciation
هِمَّتُهُ الإِغْرَاءُ وَالسِّعَايَهْ
وَكَذِبٌand lying جَاوَزَhe exceeded فِيْهِin it الغَايَهْthe limit
وَكَذِبٌ جَاوَزَ فِيْهِ الغَايَهْ
His concern is incitement and malicious denunciation,
With aim and effort all of deception
And lying in which he has exceeded all bounds;
Lies exceed the furthest intention
وَلَحْظُهُand his glance وَلَفْظُهُand his speech سَعَايَهْmalicious denunciation
وَلَحْظُهُ وَلَفْظُهُ سَعَايَهْ
And his glance and his speech are malicious denunciation.
