Do not forget the promise between us, now drawing near.
Do not forget a promise between us that has come near
And shun excuses, for in excuses lies ruin.
And avoid the excuse, for in the excuse is perdition

We strive toward a garden of play and amusement

Or a nest of birds that fell on the branches
In the shade of a fruiting lote tree with low-hanging foliage.
In the shade of a fruitful sidr, close to the ground

In it are kinds of birds in tumult
When the winds shake those branches,
When the winds shake those branches

It presents us with a foretaste of gold
