يَاO مُسْدِيَbestower of العُرْفِkindness إسْرَارَاًin secret وَإِعْلاَنَاand openly

O bestower of kindness, secretly and openly,
O bestower of kindness in secret and openly,
Who follows goodness and beneficence with yet more beneficence,
And who follows goodness and generosity with yet more generosity,
أَقْلِعْwithdraw سَحَابَكَyour cloud قَدْalready غَرَّقْتَنِيyou have drowned me مِنَنَاًin favors
مَاnot أَدْمَنَpersisted الغَيْثُthe rain إِلاَّexcept كَانَbecame طُوفَانَاa deluge
Hold back your cloud—you have drowned me in favors;
Withdraw your cloud; you have already drowned me in favors.
For whenever rain persists, it becomes a flood.
Rain never persists without becoming a deluge.
