My lord, what do you complain of? Tell me:

Is it from coquetry, or from pampering?

Do not let this alarm you, for your brother, the

full moon, has always been enamored of eclipses.

Cast off the weight of swords, for your com-

plaint comes only from the weight of bearing swords.

And spare us your tying of belts, for we

have already pitied your slender waist.

How often we reproached you about swords and said

to you: what have oryx to do with bearing swords?

Oryx are suited only to secluded chambers,

    and luxury, pleasure, and music.
