A meadow pleased by the rain's handiwork
As a friend is pleased with a friend.
As a friend is pleased by a friend

Whenever the rain gladdens it with a morning draught,
When morning showers make it joyous
It completes its kindness to it with an evening draught.
It perfects its adornment in the mist

It mocks the wind with breezes
As though its soil were made of finely powdered musk.
As though its flowers were pure musk

Remnants of tears on a lover's cheek
