صَلِيْه فقد قطَّعْتِهِ مُذْ قطَعتِهِ

صَلِيْه فقد قطَّعْتِهِ مُذْ قطَعتِهِ

وأقْرَحْتِ جَفْنَيْهِ وأسهرْتَ ناظِرَهْ

وأقْرَحْتِ جَفْنَيْهِ وأسهرْتَ ناظِرَهْ

Reunite with him, for you have torn him apart since you broke with him.

Pray for him, for you have cut him off since you cut him off,

And you have made his eyelids sore and kept his eye awake.

And ulcerated his eyelids and deprived his watcher of sleep,

إذا كُنتِ تُحيّيهِ وأنتِ قَتَلتِهِ

إذا كُنتِ تُحيّيهِ وأنتِ قَتَلتِهِ

فأنْتِ عَلَى مَحْوِ القَطِيْعَةِ قادِرَهْ

فأنْتِ عَلَى مَحْوِ القَطِيْعَةِ قادِرَهْ

If you can revive him, though you yourself have killed him,

If you claim to enliven him while you killed him,

Then you are capable of erasing the estrangement.

Then you are able to erase the separation.
