إذا قَصُرَتْ أسيافُنا كانَ وَصْلُها
خُطَانَاour strides إلىtoward أعْدَائِنَاour enemies فَنُضَارِبِand so we exchange blows
خُطَانَا إلى أعْدَائِنَا فَنُضَارِبِ
When our swords fall short, their extension is
When our swords fall short, their hilts still reach,
our strides toward our enemies, and so we exchange blows.
Our foes, to strike them with all our might.
