Whoever does good deeds, God rewards those deeds.

And evil is matched with evil in God's sight.

And a person's strength, for as long as it endures,

Is only on loan, like a garment's return to the tongue [wording unclear].

If a person is spared being killed and spared illness,

Amid life's pleasures, night and day will wear him out.

For this world and its adornment

Are only like provisions, which must one day perish.
