وَغَسَّانُ أصْلِي وَهُمْ مَعْقِلي

وَغَسَّانُ أصْلِي وَهُمْ مَعْقِلي

فنِعْمَ الأَرومَةُ والمَعْقِلُ

فنِعْمَ الأَرومَةُ والمَعْقِلُ

And Ghassan is my root, and they are my stronghold.

And Ghassan is my origin and they are my fortress,

How fine, then, the lineage and the stronghold!

So excellent is the headband and the fortress.
