وَبَعضُand some of القَولِspeech لَيسَis not لَهُfor it عِناجٌa supporting cord
وَبَعضُ القَولِ لَيسَ لَهُ عِناجٌ
كَمَخضِlike churning الماءِthe water لَيسَis not لَهُfor it إِتاءُyield
كَمَخضِ الماءِ لَيسَ لَهُ إِتاءُ
And some speech has no supporting cord,
Some words lack earnestness
Like churning water, which yields nothing.
Like the labor of a barren woman, fruitless
