جَديلَةُJadilah وَالغَوثُand al-Ghawth الَّذينَwhom تَعيبُهُمyou disparage them
جَديلَةُ وَالغَوثُ الَّذينَ تَعيبُهُم
كِرامٌnoble وَماand not مَنwhoever عابَهُمdisparaged them بِكَريمِat all noble
كِرامٌ وَما مَن عابَهُم بِكَريمِ
Jadilah and al-Ghawth, whom you disparage,
Jadilah and al-Gauth, whom the generous fault
are noble, and whoever disparages them is not noble.
Yet none who faults them is deemed generous still
وَقَدand already نَسَبَtraced the lineage of النُسّابُthe genealogists قَبلَكَbefore you طَيِّئاًTayyiʾ
وَقَد نَسَبَ النُسّابُ قَبلَكَ طَيِّئاً
إِلىto ذِروَةٍa summit مِنof مَذحِجٍMadhhij وَصَميمِand pure stock
إِلى ذِروَةٍ مِن مَذحِجٍ وَصَميمِ
And genealogists before you had traced Tayyiʾ's lineage
And long before you the genealogists traced
to the summit of Madhhij and its pure stock.
