لَستُI am not بِذيone with دَحسٍcovert malice وَلاnor تَعريضِinsinuation
I am not given to covert malice or insinuation;
I do not scheme or hint at things
I speak only openly, in a lowered voice.
Only frank and subdued speech
أَفقَأُI put out عَينَthe eye of الشانِئِthe hater البَغيضِthe hateful
فَقءَlancing الطَبيبِthe physician قُرحَةَthe sore of المَريضِthe patient
I put out the eye of the hateful enemy,
I gouge out the eye of the loathsome critic
As a physician lances a patient's sore.
As the doctor lances the patient's boil.
