Time has indeed tested me in ease and hardship,

Time has come upon me, easy and hard,

And I have tested time, sweet and bitter.

And I have come upon time, sweet and bitter.

So it became clear to me that, whenever we act,

So it seemed to me that when we act,

Neither of us is free in his action.

Neither of us in our acts has freedom.
