I asked an old man who had bent
I asked an old man who lost his youth,
over, “What are you searching for in the dust?”
"Why do you sift through the dust?"
فأجابso he replied ياO ولديmy son لقدindeed
فأجاب يا ولدي لقد
ضيعتُI lost أيامthe days of الشبابyouth
ضيعتُ أيام الشباب
So he replied, “My son, I have indeed
He answered, "O my son, I have
lost the days of youth.”
