أرى جنانا حسنت حورها

ثم جحيما نارها ثائره

I see gardens of paradise whose houris are fair,

Then a hell whose fire rages,

مقسومتين بين هذا الورى

مقسومتين بين هذا الورى

كأنما الدنيا هي الآخره

كأنما الدنيا هي الآخره

Both apportioned among these people,

As though this world were the hereafter.
