قد خلا صبحه من الاوضاح
Indeed, he is in a dark night of sorrow.
Lost in a night of sorrows so dark
His morning has become devoid of light.
His dawn emptied of all light
ظلremained فيin بهرةthe midst الشقاءof misery مقيماdwelling
ظل في بهرة الشقاء مقيما
ماnot لهfor him عنهاfrom it ساعةan hour منany براحescape
ما له عنها ساعة من براح
He remains dwelling in the midst of misery.
He stays imprisoned in misfortune
He has not an hour's escape from it.
No respite for him, not one hour
افسدتruined عيشهhis livelihood صروفthe vicissitudes اللياليof the nights
افسدت عيشه صروف الليالي
هلis there لماfor what افسدتهthey ruined it منany اصلاحrestoration
هل لما افسدته من اصلاح
The vicissitudes of the nights have ruined his livelihood.
