قُلSay لِلَّذينَto those who تَحَصَّنواhave fortified themselves منagainst راغِبٍa supplicant
قُل لِلَّذينَ تَحَصَّنوا من راغِبٍ
بِمَنازِلٍin dwellings منfrom دونِهاbefore them حُجّابُchamberlains
بِمَنازِلٍ من دونِها حُجّابُ
Say to those who have fortified themselves against a supplicant
Say to those who seek refuge
in dwellings before which stand chamberlains:
In dwellings with no veils but them,
إِنif حالَbars لِقائِكُمmeeting you بَوّابُكُمyour doorkeeper
إِن حالَ لِقائِكُم بَوّابُكُم
فَاللَهُthen God لَيسَthere is no لِبابِهِat His door بَوّابُdoorkeeper
فَاللَهُ لَيسَ لِبابِهِ بَوّابُ
If your doorkeeper bars access to you,
"If it comes to meeting you, your doormen
then God has no doorkeeper at His door.
Cannot stop it, for God has no doorman."
