باذِلٌone who offers عُرسَهُhis wife لَناto us بِطَعامٍin exchange for food
باذِلٌ عُرسَهُ لَنا بِطَعامٍ
وَشَرابٍand drink نَزرٍscant كَنَيلِlike the gift of البَخيلِthe miser
وَشَرابٍ نَزرٍ كَنَيلِ البَخيلِ
He offers us his wife in exchange for food
He offers us his wedding feast with food
And scant drink, like a miser’s gift.
And stingy drink like a miser's trickling stream
