وهبني جلست على مسند

وهبني جلست على مسند

وترمقني عين من يحسد

And suppose I sat upon a seat,

He granted me a seat to sit upon

and the eye of one who envies watches me:

And an envious eye stared at me

حقيق به دون كل الأنام

حقيق به دون كل الأنام

أنا وحقيق بي المسند

أنا وحقيق بي المسند

Worthy of it, alone among all humankind,

It is truly mine before all people

am I—and the seat is worthy of me.

I and it are truly meant for this seat
