اقبل من الشيخ هديا عن تجاربه
فقدfor indeed ضاعwas lost بهاthrough them مالاًmoney وأزماناand periods of time
فقد ضاع بها مالاً وأزمانا
Accept guidance from the elder, drawn from his experiences;
Accept from the elder his gift of experience
for money and time were lost through them.
For through it he lost wealth and times
سعىhe strove وجدand worked hard وقاسىand suffered وانتهىand finally reached أملاًan aim
سعى وجد وقاسى وانتهى أملاً
ولبand the essence of ذلكthat قدmay يعطيكhe gives you مجاناfor free
ولب ذلك قد يعطيك مجانا
He strove, toiled, suffered, and finally reached his aim;
He strove, found, endured, and reached his hopes' end
and he may give you the essence of that for free.
That essence he may give you for free
