I compose poetry in maxims,

I compose poetry with wisdom

As the fruit of experience,

As a product of my experiences

ليأخذها محبوها

ليأخذها محبوها

بياناً للأعاجيب

بياناً للأعاجيب

So that those who love them may receive them

For those who love it to take

As an explanation of marvels.

As an expression of wonders

فشخص للهوى يمضي

فشخص للهوى يمضي

وشخصٌ للمحاريب

وشخصٌ للمحاريب

So one person goes toward passion,

One person goes on for passion

And another toward the prayer niches.

Another for battles
