خَرَجتyou emerged منfrom الشَريطِthe railway وَلمand did not تَهَشَّمget shattered
خَرَجت من الشَريطِ وَلم تَهَشَّم
كَأنَّكَas though you خارجٌwere emerging منfrom بيتِa house of عُرسِa wedding
كَأنَّكَ خارجٌ من بيتِ عُرسِ
You emerged from the railway without being shattered,
You slipped out of my grip but did not break
As though you were leaving a house hosting a wedding.
As though you left after wedding night
