كَأَنَّas though اِحمِرارَthe redness الخَدِof the cheek مِمَّنof the one whom أُحِبُّهُI love him
كَأَنَّ اِحمِرارَ الخَدِ مِمَّن أُحِبُّهُ
حَديقَةُa garden وَردٍof roses وَالعِذارُand the cheek-down سِياجُهاits fence
حَديقَةُ وَردٍ وَالعِذارُ سِياجُها
It is as though the redness of the cheek of the one I love
As if the redness of the cheek were from one I love
Were a garden of roses, and the down on his cheek its fence.
A garden of roses, bashfulness is its fence
