لِلَّهِ شِبلا أَسَدٍ خادِرٍ

لِلَّهِ شِبلا أَسَدٍ خادِرٍ

ما فيهِما جُبنٌ وَلا شُحُّ

ما فيهِما جُبنٌ وَلا شُحُّ

God be praised for the two cubs of a lion in his lair!

There is neither cowardice nor stinginess in either of them.

ما أَقبَلا إِلّا وَقالَ الوَرى

ما أَقبَلا إِلّا وَقالَ الوَرى

قَد جاءَ نَصرُ اللَهِ وَالفَتحُ

قَد جاءَ نَصرُ اللَهِ وَالفَتحُ

Whenever the two approached, the people said:

God’s help and victory have indeed come.
