إِلىto اِبنِson of بُرانٍBuran وَاِبنِand son of رُزّيكَRuzzik مَقصِديmy destination
وَغَيرِهِماand anyone besides those two فيin عَصرِناour age لَيسَis not يُقصَدُsought
My destination is Ibn Buran and Ibn Ruzzik,
To Ibn Buran and Ibn Ruzzik is my aim
And in our age, none but those two is sought.
And in our time none other I seek
وَكَيفَand how أَخافُI fear الفَقرَpoverty أَوor أُحرَمُI am deprived of الغِنىwealth
وَكَنزيand my treasure مِنَamong الأَمصارِthe cities مِصرٌEgypt وَصَرخَدُand Sarkhad
And how could I fear poverty or be denied wealth,
How can I fear poverty or be deprived of wealth
When my treasure among the cities is Egypt and Sarkhad?
When my treasure houses are Egypt and Sarakhad
فَلازالَso may he ever remain طَلاعَa climber of الثَناياthe mountain passes طَلائِعٌTala'i
وَلازالَand may he ever remain مَحمودَpraiseworthy in النَجَّارِlineage مُحَمَّدُMuhammad
So may Tala'i ever remain a climber of mountain passes,
Ever the rising of Pleiades is a happy event
And may Muhammad ever remain of praiseworthy lineage.
And ever is Mahmoud the carpenter Mohammad
