you are the bearers of the cause's burden;

You bear the burden of the cause

أنتم العاملون من غير قولٍ

باركَ اللهُ في الزنود القويَّةْ

باركَ اللهُ في الزنود القويَّةْ

you are those who act without talk—

You work without boasting

may God bless the strong arms!

May God bless the strong columns

وبيانٌ منكم يعادل جيشاً

وبيانٌ منكم يعادل جيشاً

بمعدَّات زحفه الحربيَّةْ

بمعدَّات زحفه الحربيَّةْ

And a statement from you equals an army,

And a statement from you equals an army

with the military equipment for its advance.

With its war preparations

واجتماعٌ منكم يَرُدُّ علينا

واجتماعٌ منكم يَرُدُّ علينا

غابرَ المجدِ من فتوح أُميَّهْ

غابرَ المجدِ من فتوح أُميَّهْ

And a meeting of yours brings back to us

And a gathering of you gives us back

the bygone glory of Umayya's conquests.

وخلاصُ البلادِ صارعلى البا

ب وجاءت أعيادُه الورديَّة

And the country's deliverance is now at the doo-

And the salvation of the countries became at the doors

ما جَحَدنا أفضالكم غير أنَّا

لم تزل في نفوسنا أُمنيَّةْ

We have not denied your favors, but

We do not deny your merits, but

a wish still remains in our souls:

في يدينا بقيَّةٌ من بلادٍ

فاستريحوا كيلا تطير البقيَّةْ

فاستريحوا كيلا تطير البقيَّةْ

in our hands is a remnant of a country;

In our hands remains a part of the countries

so rest, lest the remnant fly away.
