قَدindeed فهمناwe understood مِنfrom الهَديةthe gift مَعنىa meaning
قَد فهمنا مِن الهَدية مَعنى
غَيرother than مَعنىthe meaning of الرمانpomegranates مِنfrom كفركناKafr Kanna
غَير مَعنى الرمان مِن كفركنا
Indeed, we have discerned a meaning in the gift,

other than that of pomegranates from Kafr Kanna.

With overflowing love and beauty
ملعبa playground لِلصباfor youth وَقَدand indeed كانَit was يوحيinspiring
ملعب لِلصبا وَقَد كانَ يوحي
كُلَّevery يَومday مَهماhowever much أَفاضَhe spoke at length وَأَثنىand he praised
كُلَّ يَوم مَهما أَفاضَ وَأَثنى
A playground for youth, and it would inspire
A playground for youth that inspired
each day, however effusively he spoke and praised.
Each day no matter how much it overflowed with praise
