يزول به غمي ويعلو به قدري

My refuge, my support, my comforter, my master, through whom

My grief vanishes, and through whom my standing rises;

وكهفي من الأيام إن ناب حادث

وكهفي من الأيام إن ناب حادث

أبث له حزني وأشكو له أمري

أبث له حزني وأشكو له أمري

And my shelter from the days, should calamity strike—

To him I pour out my sorrow and complain of my plight.
