هنيئاً لكم في الجنان الخلود
Lo, tell the dwellers of Wadi al-Aqiq:
O say to the people of Wadi Al-Aqeeq
May you enjoy eternal life in the Gardens.
Congratulations to you in the eternal gardens
أفيضواpour forth عليناupon us منof الماءthe water فيضاin abundance
أفيضوا علينا من الماء فيضا
فنحنfor we عِطاشٌthirsty وأنتمand you وُرودُthose who have reached water
فنحن عِطاشٌ وأنتم وُرودُ
Pour water upon us in abundance,
Bestow upon us some water
for we are thirsty, while you have reached the water.
For we are thirsty and you are springs
