وأعلم أن كُلِّي فيك فانٍ

And I know that all of me fades away in you,

And I know that all of me in you will perish

And my eye melts in you, and my heart too.

And my eyes in you are melting and my heart

وأعلم أن عندك من يُنادي

وأعلم أن عندك من يُنادي

خفيّاً هاتفاً وأنا الملبّي

خفيّاً هاتفاً وأنا الملبّي

And I know that someone with you is calling,

And I know that you have one who calls

Unseen, crying out, and I am the one who answers.

Secretly calling and I am the respondent

وأعلم أن حبي ليس يشفي

وأعلم أن حبي ليس يشفي

وبعدي ليس يُجديني وقربي

وبعدي ليس يُجديني وقربي

And I know that my love does not heal,

And neither my distance nor my nearness avails me.

And after me it does not avail me or my nearness
