صيرَ عذبَ الشرابِ مراً
وزادَand he increased ضيقَthe hardship الحياةِof life ضيقاhardship
وزادَ ضيقَ الحياةِ ضيقا
He turned sweet drink bitter,
and added hardship to life's hardship.
