نَصَحنا لَكُم ردّوا عَقارب سَعيِكُم

نَصَحنا لَكُم ردّوا عَقارب سَعيِكُم

وَإِلّا رَدَدناها عَلَيكم أَفاعِيا

وَإِلّا رَدَدناها عَلَيكم أَفاعِيا

We have counseled you: call back the scorpions of your endeavors;

Or else we shall send them back against you as vipers.

وَلا تَتَصَدوا لِلعَداوة بَينَنا

وَلا تَتَصَدوا لِلعَداوة بَينَنا

فَأَهون شَيءٍ أَن نَكيد الأَعاديا

فَأَهون شَيءٍ أَن نَكيد الأَعاديا

And do not pursue enmity between us,

For the easiest thing is for us to plot against our foes.
