This bride is a daughter of the house of Karama.
This bride, a maiden of the honorable family
The days betrayed the tender bloom of her youth.
Was betrayed by the passing days of her youth
باتَتshe lay مكفنةًshrouded بِثَوبِin the gown of زَفافِهاher wedding
باتَت مكفنةً بِثَوبِ زَفافِها
كَالبَدرِlike the full moon قَدhave وارىveiled سَناهُits radiance غَمامُclouds
كَالبَدرِ قَد وارى سَناهُ غَمامُ
She lay shrouded in her wedding gown,

أَمَّتshe sought جِوارَthe presence of اللَهِGod فيin تاريخِهاher chronogram
أَمَّت جِوارَ اللَهِ في تاريخِها
فَعَلىso upon الشَفيقةِthe compassionate woman رَحمَةٌmercy وَسَلامُand peace
فَعَلى الشَفيقةِ رَحمَةٌ وَسَلامُ
She sought God's presence; her chronogram reads:
She passed into the neighborhood of God on her date
So mercy and peace be upon the compassionate one.
