تَجلَّى هِلالُ السَعدِ في حُسنِ طَلعةٍ

تَجلَّى هِلالُ السَعدِ في حُسنِ طَلعةٍ

بِها اللَهُ وَافانا بِحُسنٍ وَاِحسانِ

بِها اللَهُ وَافانا بِحُسنٍ وَاِحسانِ

The crescent of good fortune shone forth in a lovely countenance;

Through it, God has brought us beauty and benevolence.

نَجيبٌ نَراهُ حَيثُ أرَّخَ فائِقاً

نَجيبٌ نَراهُ حَيثُ أرَّخَ فائِقاً

وَلا غَروَ فيهِ أَنَّهُ مِن سُليمانِ

وَلا غَروَ فيهِ أَنَّهُ مِن سُليمانِ

Najib, whom we see as outstanding when the date is recorded;

And no wonder in him, for he comes from Sulayman.
